Prior to joining the firm, Dan served as a Managing Director at IMS Capital Management, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships. In this role, he worked directly with individuals, families, institutions, and investment advisors. His financial industry experience spans major markets including New York, Chicago, and Portland, and includes 22 years as a member of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).
Dan’s expertise covers stocks, bonds, futures, options, and commodities. He is known for building strong, trust-based client relationships and helping clients pursue their long-term financial goals. Dan holds a B.S. in Biology from Colgate University.

Fun Fact: Dan is highly social and has embraced Portland’s culture in many memorable ways. A connoisseur of fine wines, he can often carry on full conversations in French. He has also become a “micronano” craft brewer, creating several unique beers—his Vienna Cream Ale is considered his pièce de résistance.
