Meet The Team
Your advisory experience is built on the strength of the people behind it. Our team brings deep experience, diverse expertise, and a shared commitment to helping clients succeed.
Aaron is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and an Advisor (IAR). Prior to joining Pinnacle Wealth and armed with a B.S. in Business from Washington State University, he spent time running his own business, focused heavily in the real estate and financing arenas. Aaron brings extensive experience working with investment selection, personalized planning and financial problem solving to individuals, families and businesses. Aaron and his wife have three children: Israel, Charlie and Kingsley…and can regularly be found enjoying every moment possible with their growing family.
Randy began his financial career in 2008 with AXA Advisors, where he specialized in private wealth management and retirement planning. A graduate of Warner Pacific University, Randy earned his Bachelor of Arts in Human Development in 2000.
With over a decade and a half of experience in the financial industry, Randy is passionate about helping families and business owners achieve their retirement goals. He takes pride in designing thoughtful, results-driven strategies for both individual investors and plan sponsors in the retirement plan marketplace. Randy also holds the 401C(k)P® designation, reflecting his advanced knowledge and commitment to excellence in employer-sponsored retirement plans.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Randy and his wife Rebecca are actively involved in leading a huddle at Clackamas High School for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and participate in a variety of community service initiatives through his local church ministries.
Outside of work, Randy enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Rebecca, and their four adult children and two grandchildren. An active and energetic individual, Randy can often be found playing basketball, wake surfing, hitting the gym, or enjoying a round of golf whenever he can.
After spending 20 years in the medical field, Brian found a new passion for helping others pursue better financial health. He shifted his focus to helping others make sound financial decisions to achieve their financial goals. Part of what inspired Brian to become an advisor was the realization that many people feel overwhelmed and intimidated by money. He aims to break down those barriers and provide clients with the knowledge and guidance they need to make their money work for them. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography from the Oregon Institute of Technology and an advanced degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Washington. He has successfully passed the Series 65 securities exam.
Outside of the office, Brian enjoys pursuing various hobbies and spending quality time with his family, including his wife and two children. He loves woodworking, elk hunting, fishing, and making lasting memories at the lake.
Carl is a seasoned investment professional with over 30 years of experience managing portfolios and leading the IMS family of funds since their inception in 1996. He earned a B.S. from the University of Oregon, double majoring in Computer Science and Psychology, giving him a unique perspective on both market behavior and investor needs.
Before founding IMS Capital Management in 1988, Carl worked as a financial systems analyst for subsidiaries of General Motors and Mercedes-Benz. His expertise in portfolio management and fund leadership has led to numerous national media appearances, including: Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, SmartMoney, Investor’s Business Daily, USA Today, and Barron’s Television appearances on Bloomberg TV, CNBC, Serious Money, and The Nightly Business Report.
Carl is also deeply committed to community and volunteer work. He is a current member of the Portland Society of Chartered Financial Analysts and serves on the advisory board of Wycliffe Associates. He has held leadership roles at New Hope Community Church and supports organizations such as Food for the Hungry and Cowboys With a Mission.
Outside the office, Carl is an outdoor extreme sports enthusiast, having navigated white water rivers around the globe. He manages multiple real estate projects and enjoys the creative aspects of design and development. Carl attributes much of his success to a balanced lifestyle focused on faith, family, fitness, friends, and financial stewardship.
Chris served as President of IMS Capital Management, where he also led portfolio management and wealth strategy development for families and nonprofit clients. Prior to joining IMS, he was a portfolio manager at West Coast Trust, an affiliate of Columbia State Bank, where he developed a low-turnover, concentrated equity strategy.
With more than 14 years of experience in equity research and portfolio management, Chris holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Concordia University, as well as an MBA in Finance and a JD from Willamette University. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar and has shared his expertise as an adjunct professor at Concordia University, Washington State University–Vancouver, and Willamette University’s Graduate School of Business.
Chris has been actively involved in nonprofit and community service, including: Oregon Community Foundation – Investment and Audit Committee (current), United Way of the Columbia-Willamette – Planned Giving Advisory Council Chair (current), Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools – Finance Chair (current), Concordia University – Leadership in Education Awards Committee (current), Dorothy and Robert Ryan Charitable Foundation – Board Member (past), Classroom Law Project – Board Member (past).
He frequently speaks to students, community groups, and professional associations on investment, economics, business ethics, and personal finance.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling with his wife and daughter, exploring rare whiskeys and Chinese teas, and attending sporting events across the country and around the world.
Mike Musco is a wealth advisor helping business owners, real estate investors, and professionals in Central Oregon build and protect the wealth they’ve worked hard to create. He specializes in tax-efficient planning and investment strategies, with particular depth in helping clients navigate appreciated real estate, equity compensation, and complex financial transitions.
Before wealth management, Mike spent nearly a decade in corporate finance and business management at Microsoft, which gave him a lasting appreciation for both the complexity and the opportunity inside well-structured financial planning. That experience, combined with the CPWA® designation, shapes how he approaches every client relationship: thorough, strategic, and always planning-first.
Mike and his family moved to Bend years ago and never looked back. He’s embedded in the Bend community through Rotary, BNI, and the Bend Golf Club. When he’s off the clock you’ll find him on the course or at Mt. Bachelor with his son. He’s proud to be opening Pinnacle’s Bend office and bringing a firm with serious planning depth to a community that deserves exactly that.
Rachael is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Investment Advisor (IAR) with 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. Rachael is dedicated to helping clients achieve their personal financial goals. Known for her detail-oriented approach, strong communication abilities, and exceptional follow-through, Rachael builds long-term, trusting relationships with clients. She takes pride in guiding individuals and families through significant life transitions, ensuring they make informed, strategic decisions that align with their financial objectives.
Before joining PWA, Rachael graduated with honors from Washington State University, completing a double major in Law and Accounting, as well as a minor in Economics in just three years. Rachael spent several years devoted to philanthropic efforts in international education throughout Africa and was awarded an Honorary Ph.D. in Humanities and Communication from Kayiwa International University.
Outside of her professional career, Rachael enjoys traveling, playing various sports, reading, baking, and exploring new hobbies. She especially cherishes time spent with her family and making memories with her four sons.
Ron has been in practice since 1981, a Certified Financial Planner® since 1986, and Certified Financial Transitionist® since 2014. Ron helps bridge the two sides of money: the numbers and the personal side.
Ron has served as president and chair of the board of the Oregon Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners and on the national education committee for the Financial Planning Association. Born in Portland, Ron, his wife, five children, and 15 grandchildren reside in Vancouver, Washington, and Portland, Oregon area.
Ron is active in his community. He has taught proven financial management courses at several institutions and corporations in the Northwest, as well as given presentations on Behavioral Finance Issues to his peers. Ron is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Money Quotient, and Sudden Money community. He is also a Certified Financial Transitionist®, where he has gained specialized training in financial transition planning through the Sudden Money Institute (SMI).
With a passion for giving back and helpings others to understand how to give, Ron has been involved in several community programs. He has sat on the Planned Giving Advisory Council for Clackamas Community College Foundation and the University of Portland Development Department. He has also been an Allied Professional with the NW Planned Giving Roundtable, past Co-Chair of the Speakers Bureau for the Leave a Legacy effort sponsored by the NW Planned Giving Roundtable. For several years he had served on the Portland Community College Foundation Board and the Western Seminary Board. Currently, he is serving as Vice-Chair of the Nehemiah Project, a nonprofit teaching Biblical Entrepreneurship.

Lou is a licensed Certified Financial Planner® practitioner with nearly forty years of experience in providing personal financial planning. Lou has a Bachelor’s degree in Education, and his love for teaching has continued throughout his personal and professional life. He has taught numerous CFP® candidates as an adjunct faculty member of the College for Financial Planning. Lou has developed and conducted financial planning seminars and workshops for various businesses and community organizations. In his financial planning consultations, he aims to ensure his clients leave each meeting with more knowledge and an improved ability to make financial decisions to improve their lives.
As a Planner and Analyst for American Express Financial Advisors, Lou provided expert advice and training to hundreds of advisors throughout the Northwest, earning that firm’s coveted Premier Performer award for outstanding service. In 1997, he established his own independent financial planning practice. Lou began his firm with the strong belief that the success of a Financial Advisor should be based on the success of his clients, not on the number or type of products a client purchases. In response to client demands, Lou expanded his practice to include fee-based investment management, helping clients reach their goals with a balanced portfolio specifically designed to match each client’s goals and tolerance for risk.
Lou’s professional affiliations have included the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. Lou was selected by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as one of “America’s Best Financial Planners” for 2005-2006.
Lou is active in the community. He is an Eagle Scout and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association. He has been a Vice-Chair and Director of the North Clackamas County Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the President’s Award in 2001 for his work on the Chamber’s Strategic Planning Task Force.
Lou and his wife, Amy, currently live in Washougal, Washington. During his free time, Lou enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, camping, and backpacking. Lou is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to Pinnacle Wealth Advisors, a progressive firm that is dedicated to fulfilling their fiduciary duty to put the needs of clients first.
